Identify the solar cell characteristics from the following options :

A solar cell delivers power: it produces a current opposite to the forward current while its voltage is positive. Its $I$-$V$ curve therefore lies in the fourth quadrant, running from the short-circuit current on the $I$-axis to the open-circuit voltage on the $V$-axis. This is graph (2).
Graph (1) is a forward-biased diode, (3) is an ohmic resistor and (4) is not a solar cell characteristic.
