Assertion (A): The property of a body, by virtue of which it tends to regain its original shape when the external force is removed, is Elasticity.

(A) is the definition of elasticity, so it is true.
When a solid is deformed, the atoms are displaced from their equilibrium positions and the interatomic (and intermolecular) forces pull them back. These forces provide the restoring force, which is why the body regains its shape. So (R) is true and explains (A).
