Answer: (B) $\dfrac{1}{2\sqrt3}$
Along the incline: $a=g\sin30^\circ-\mu g\cos30^\circ$.
$$\frac{g}{4}=\frac{g}{2}-\mu g\frac{\sqrt3}{2}\ \Rightarrow\ \mu\frac{\sqrt3}{2}=\frac14\ \Rightarrow\ \mu=\frac{1}{2\sqrt3}$$
