Answer: (A) $2\ \text{A}$
$$Z=\sqrt{R^2+(X_L-X_C)^2}=\sqrt{100^2+100^2}=100\sqrt2\ \Omega$$
$$I_{rms}=\frac{200\sqrt2}{100\sqrt2}=2\ \text{A}$$
