Q 11-06-130JEE MainJEE Main 2022 (24 Jun, Shift 2)Easy
A fly wheel is accelerated uniformly from rest and rotates through $5\ \text{rad}$ in the first second. The angle rotated by the fly wheel in the next second will be:
Answer: (B) $15\ \text{rad}$
$\theta = \frac12\alpha t^2$: $5 = \frac12\alpha(1)^2\Rightarrow\alpha = 10\ \text{rad s}^{-2}$.
In 2 s: $\theta = \frac12(10)(2)^2 = 20\ \text{rad}$. Angle in the second second $= 20 - 5 = 15\ \text{rad}$.
