Q 11-06-042JEE MainMedium
A flywheel starts from rest with a constant angular acceleration and reaches $20$ rad/s in $5$ s. Find the number of revolutions it makes in this time, rounded to the nearest whole number.
Numerical value type. Enter your answer.
Answer: 8
$$\theta = \frac{\omega_0 + \omega}{2}t = \frac{0 + 20}{2}(5) = 50\ \text{rad}$$
$$\text{Revolutions} = \frac{50}{2\pi} \approx 7.96 \approx 8$$
