Q 12-14-203JEE MainJEE Main 2017 (9 Apr)Easy
The current gain of a common emitter amplifier is $69$. If the emitter current is $7.0$ mA, collector current is:
Answer: (C) $6.9$ mA
With $\beta = 69$, $I_E = I_B + I_C = I_C\left(1 + \dfrac1\beta\right)$:
$$I_C = \frac{\beta}{1 + \beta}I_E = \frac{69}{70}\times7.0 = 6.9\ \text{mA}$$
