Q 12-14-209JEE MainJEE Main 2025 (2 Apr, Shift 2)Medium
In the digital circuit shown in the figure, for the given inputs the P and Q values are:
Answer: (B) $P = 0,\ Q = 0$
Both inputs are 1.
- NAND gate: $X = \overline{1\cdot1} = 0$.
- Each input passes through a NOT gate, giving 0 and 0; the OR gate gives $Y = 0 + 0 = 0$.
- AND gate: $P = X\cdot Y = 0\cdot0 = 0$.
- $X$ is inverted to $\overline X = 1$ and fed with $Y$ to the NOR gate: $Q = \overline{1 + 0} = 0$.
So $P = 0$, $Q = 0$.
