Answer: (D) in opposite directions with speed in the ratio of $1:2$ respectively.
Total momentum stays zero, so the fragments move in opposite directions with equal momenta: $2m\,v_1 = m\,v_2 \Rightarrow v_1 : v_2 = 1 : 2$.
