The cross product of a vector with itself is $|\vec A||\vec A|\sin0^\circ\,\hat n = \vec 0$.
(Also $\vec A\cdot\vec A = |\vec A|^2 \neq 0$, and a vector cannot be compared as $<0$ or $>0$.)
