A body of mass $2\ \text{kg}$ moving with velocity $\vec v_{in} = 3\hat i + 4\hat j\ \text{m s}^{-1}$ enters into a constant force field of $6\ \text{N}$ directed along the positive $z$-axis. If the body remains in the field for a period of $\dfrac53$ seconds, then the velocity of the body when it emerges from the force field is:
Answer: (B) $3\hat i + 4\hat j + 5\hat k$
$\vec a = \dfrac{6}{2}\hat k = 3\hat k\ \text{m/s}^2$.
$$\vec v = \vec u + \vec at = 3\hat i + 4\hat j + 3\times\frac53\hat k = 3\hat i + 4\hat j + 5\hat k$$
