The charge on the capacitor of capacitance $15\ \mu\text{F}$ in the figure given below is
Answer: (A) $60\ \mu\text{C}$
In series every capacitor carries the same charge.
$$\frac1C = \frac1{10} + \frac1{15} + \frac1{20} = \frac{13}{60}\ \Rightarrow\ C = \frac{60}{13}\ \mu\text{F}$$
$$Q = CV = \frac{60}{13}\times13 = 60\ \mu\text{C}$$
