The total charge on the system of capacitances $C_1 = 1\ \mu\text{F}$, $C_2 = 2\ \mu\text{F}$, $C_3 = 4\ \mu\text{F}$ and $C_4 = 3\ \mu\text{F}$ connected in parallel is (Assume a battery of $20\ \text{V}$ is connected to the combination)
Answer: (A) $200\ \mu\text{C}$
$C = 1 + 2 + 4 + 3 = 10\ \mu\text{F}$, so $Q = CV = 10\times20 = 200\ \mu\text{C}$.
