The charge on a capacitor plate in a circuit, as a function of time, is shown in the figure. What is the value of current at $t = 4$ s?
Answer: (C) Zero
Current is the slope $I = \dfrac{dq}{dt}$. Between $2$ s and $6$ s the charge is constant at $3\ \mu$C, so at $t = 4$ s the current is zero.
