Q 11-01-152JEE MainJEE Main 2022 (25 Jun, Shift 1)Easy
If $Z = \dfrac{A^2B^3}{C^4}$, then the relative error in $Z$ will be
Answer: (A) $\dfrac{2\Delta A}{A} + \dfrac{3\Delta B}{B} + \dfrac{4\Delta C}{C}$
For a product of powers the maximum relative errors add, each multiplied by the magnitude of its power (errors never subtract):
$$\frac{\Delta Z}{Z} = 2\frac{\Delta A}{A} + 3\frac{\Delta B}{B} + 4\frac{\Delta C}{C}$$
