$\beta=\dfrac{\Delta I_C}{\Delta I_B}=\dfrac{10\ \text{mA}}{100\ \mu\text{A}}=100$.
Power gain $=\beta^2\dfrac{R_C}{R_B}=10^4\times\dfrac{1}{10}=10^3$, so $x=3$.
