Choose the most appropriate answer from the options given below:
Answer: (A) (a), (c) and (d) only
Inside a uniform shell the field is zero everywhere, so (a) and (c) are true.
The potential is constant inside, equal to its surface value $-\dfrac{GM}{R}$, which is not zero. So (d) is true and (b) is false.
