Which of the following statements is not true about the stopping potential $(V_0)$?
Answer: (B) It increases with increase in intensity of the incident light.
$eV_0 = h\nu - \phi$. The stopping potential depends on the frequency and on the work function of the material, and equals $K_{max}/e$. It does **not** depend on intensity, so statement (B) is not true.
