Q 12-03-161JEE MainJEE Main 2022 (25 Jun, Shift 1)Easy
A resistor develops $300\ \text{J}$ of thermal energy in $15\ \text{s}$ when a current of $2\ \text{A}$ is passed through it. If the current increases to $3\ \text{A}$, the energy developed in $10\ \text{s}$ is ______ J.
Numerical value type. Enter your answer.
Answer: 450
$300 = (2)^2R(15)\Rightarrow R = 5\ \Omega$. Then $H = (3)^2\times5\times10 = 450\ \text{J}$.
