A rectangular parallelepiped is measured as $1\ \text{cm}\times1\ \text{cm}\times100\ \text{cm}$. If its specific resistance is $3\times10^{-7}\ \Omega\,\text{m}$, then the resistance between its two opposite rectangular faces will be ______ $\times10^{-7}\ \Omega$.
Numerical value type. Enter your answer.
Answer: 3
The rectangular faces are $1\ \text{cm}\times100\ \text{cm}$ and are $1\ \text{cm}$ apart:
$$R=\frac{\rho l}{A}=\frac{3\times10^{-7}\times0.01}{0.01\times1}=3\times10^{-7}\ \Omega$$
