Bohr's model treats a single electron moving in the Coulomb field of the nucleus. It has no way of including the electron–electron repulsion present in atoms with two or more electrons, so it works only for one-electron systems (H, $\text{He}^+$, $\text{Li}^{2+}$, …).
Both statements are true, and R explains A.
