Q 12-07-150JEE MainJEE Main 2018 (8 Apr)Easy
For an RLC circuit driven with voltage of amplitude $v_m$ and frequency $\omega_0 = \dfrac{1}{\sqrt{LC}}$ the current exhibits resonance. The quality factor, $Q$ is given by:
Answer: (B) $\dfrac{\omega_0L}{R}$
The quality factor of a series resonant circuit is the ratio of the reactance of the inductor (or capacitor) at resonance to the resistance:
$$Q = \frac{\omega_0L}{R} = \frac{1}{\omega_0CR}$$
