Which of the following statements is correct?
Answer: (A) In primary rainbow, observer sees red colour on the top and violet on the bottom
A primary rainbow is formed by one internal reflection in the drops (not two), and it is brighter than the secondary. Red emerges at the larger angle ($\approx42^\circ$) and violet at $\approx40^\circ$, so red is on the top and violet at the bottom.
