Nearest image behind $A$: $2$ cm behind $A$.
Mirror $B$ forms an image $8$ cm behind $B$, i.e. $18$ cm from $A$; its reflection in $A$ lies $18$ cm behind $A$. This is the second nearest image behind $A$.
