The refractive index of a prism is $\mu = \sqrt3$ and the ratio of the angle of minimum deviation to the angle of the prism is one. The value of the angle of the prism is ______ degrees.

Answer: 60
With $\delta_m = A$:
$$\mu = \frac{\sin\left(\frac{A + \delta_m}{2}\right)}{\sin\frac A2} = \frac{\sin A}{\sin\frac A2} = 2\cos\frac A2 = \sqrt3 \Rightarrow \frac A2 = 30^\circ \Rightarrow A = 60^\circ$$
