Answer: (C) $3.75\times10^{-3}\ \Omega$
$$S = \frac{I_gG}{I - I_g} = \frac{3\times10^{-3}\times10}{8 - 0.003} \approx \frac{0.03}{8} = 3.75\times10^{-3}\ \Omega$$
