The bridge is balanced ($\frac33 = \frac66$), so the $5\ \Omega$ carries no current.
$$R_{\text{bridge}} = (3+3)\parallel(6+6) = \frac{6\times12}{18} = 4\ \Omega,\qquad I = \frac{6}{4 + 2} = 1\ \text{A}$$
