Answer: (B) $\dfrac{i_o}{\sqrt3}$
$$i_{\text{rms}}^2 = \frac1T\int_0^T i_o^2\frac{t^2}{T^2}\,dt = \frac{i_o^2}{T^3}\cdot\frac{T^3}{3} = \frac{i_o^2}{3}$$
$$i_{\text{rms}} = \frac{i_o}{\sqrt3}$$
